Mentorship For Photographers

"Every Artist was first an amateur" - ralph Waldo Emerson

Before charging anyone for my photography services, I wanted to make sure I was investing in my clients as much as they were investing in me. They’re trusting me with my knowledge, and I was dedicated to learning the basics of photography to ensure I could deliver great results from day one. The rest comes with experience—those moments that shape your unique style and allow you to discover who you are as an artist. Knowledge and growth are the foundation of any creative journey. As a photographer, the learning never truly stops—there’s always a new perspective to discover, a skill to refine, or a deeper connection to your work to uncover. Investing in your growth isn’t just about improving your craft; it’s about embracing the process of becoming. Let’s work together to explore, learn, and elevate your passion for photography

FAQ

Who is your mentorship designed for?

My mentorship is designed for those who have just started their photography business and still have many questions about editing, social media, workflow, and customer service. It’s also for photographers who feel they could use some fresh knowledge and see something in my work that they feel they've been missing. Additionally, it's ideal for small businesses that have recently created social media platforms—or have had them for a while without seeing progress—and need guidance on what to post, how to create reels, boost engagement, and connect with future clients. This mentorship is a great starting point to learn the basics of social media and how to use it to elevate and grow your business successfully

What topics can you cover at your mentorship?

Here’s a list of topics we can cover during your mentorship:

  • Photography Basics and Advanced Techniques: Camera settings, lighting, editing, posing etc

  • Workflow and Time Management: Streamlining your workflow, backup strategies, and effective time management

  • Social Media Strategy: Using Instagram and Facebook, creating reels and posts, and leveraging stories for client engagement

  • Customer Service and Communication: Handling inquiries, contracts, collaborations, guides and more

FAQ

What education or training have you completed in photography?

Here are some of the courses and mentorship programs I’ve completed over the past couple of years:

  • Four-month photography course with Alexandra Pankratova
  • Three-month content creation and reels course with Alexandra Pankratova
  • Three-month photography course with Alex Stead Photo
  • Regular 1:1 mentorship with Kassandra Melnyk
  • 1:1 mentorship with Lindsay Ralph (on going)

Do you offer mentorship all year round?

My mentorship program is available for 1:1 meetings during the slower season from January to June and for shadowing sessions year-round. However, I highly recommend booking during the slower months, as my (and yours) availability is more open, allowing us to truly focus and dive deep into your photography journey. Whether you're looking to refine your editing skills, master your camera settings, or gain confidence in client interaction, the slower season provides the perfect opportunity for personalized, undistracted growth
