Time Wrapped in Emotions

When I capture a wedding, no matter the size, it feels deeply significant to me. It’s about honoring the celebration of love in all its forms. Every glance, every touch, and each burst of joy I witness fills my heart with gratitude. Capturing the tenderness and connection between two people is a gift I cherish, and I approach it with quiet respect, letting the moments unfold naturally. My work is rooted in empathy, driven by my love for human emotions, the small details, and those fleeting, beautiful moments of life. As a romantic soul, I’ve found my calling in this art, and I would be honored to capture your love story.

My Values - love and kindness above all

I Believe in capturing the real you - the raw emotions, the genuine love, and the beauty of your day as it unfolds, exactly as it is.

Your wedding is your day—do it your way. No long, posed photoshoots here; instead, I focus on documenting your day organically, capturing every little detail and unfiltered moment as it unfolds. I've recently developed a passion for film photography, which adds a cinematic, nostalgic touch to my work. This approach allows me to capture your day candidly, helping you relive each moment as it truly happened. To ensure each couple receives my full attention and creativity, I take on only a select number of weddings each season, giving every story the care it truly deserves.

FAQ

Do you help with the planning?

Absolutely! I offer timeline assistance and consultations prior to your big day to help ensure everything runs smoothly and stress-free. While I’m not a wedding planner and my expertise is focused on photography, I’m here to provide guidance where I can. Additionally, when you receive my wedding guide, you’ll find plenty of helpful tips and advice to answer common questions and make the planning process a little easier.

Do you travel for weddings, and are there additional costs?

Yes, I frequently travel across Newfoundland for weddings and photoshoots! Depending on the package you choose, a certain number of kilometers will be included. If travel exceeds the included distance, a fee of 60 cents per kilometer will apply for the additional distance. For travel outside the province, please contact me directly for a custom quote.

Can we have RAW images from the wedding?

I do not provide RAW (unedited) images, as they lack the final touches that bring out the full beauty of each photo. Editing is an essential part of my process, allowing me to enhance colors, adjust lighting, and perfect every detail to deliver polished, professional images that truly shine. Additionally, providing RAW files involves transferring full copyright ownership, granting you editorial control over the images. If you’re still interested in purchasing the RAW files, please feel free to contact me for pricing details.

How many photos can we expect to receive from our wedding?

The final gallery size will vary depending on factors like hours of coverage, the number of guests, the timeline, and the flow of your day. Rest assured, I will be there to capture the most important moments and all the little in-between ones. On average, I deliver 30–50 photos per hour of coverage.

Do you provide a sneak peek, and when will we receive the final gallery?

I always strive to deliver a sneak peek of about 20 photos within the same week of your wedding. The final gallery will be ready and delivered within 8–10 weeks.

Can we book an engagement session with you?

Umm, yes please! I highly recommend booking an engagement session with me before your wedding day. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other, connect, and shake off any camera shyness. Plus, engagement sessions are always so much fun and a chance to capture your love story in a relaxed, natural setting. The best part, when you book your wedding session with me, your engagement session comes at a discounted price!

Do you offer film photography or black-and-white options?

2024 was the year I discovered how much fun film photography is! I shoot with a 35mm point-and-shoot as well as a classic Minolta manual film camera. I love bringing them along to photoshoots, and while you’ll receive 90% of your gallery in digital format, I’ll definitely capture some special moments on film for you to enjoy. Additionally, I always provide a selection of black-and-white images throughout the gallery to give your memories a timeless, classic feel.

Do you retouch all the photos? Can you edit or alter my appearance?

I carefully retouch all of the photos to ensure they look polished, vibrant, and true to the moment. My editing focuses on enhancing the natural beauty of each image while maintaining an authentic representation of you and your day. However, I will not perform retouching of anyone’s appearance, as I believe in preserving the natural look and feel of each moment. I focus on removing distractions or imperfections to ensure the images are flattering and true to life.

What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

While I would be disappointed to hear of a cancellation, I fully understand that life can be unpredictable. Please note that the retainer fee secures my services for a specific time frame, and I may have to turn away other clients who wish to book that day. As such, the retainer fee is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your wedding, I am happy to accommodate one rescheduling as long as the new date is available in my calendar.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, I can definitely set up a custom payment plan for you, as long as the full amount is paid one month before the wedding day. If you’re interested in a payment plan, I recommend booking your wedding as soon as my new season is open for booking to secure your spot.
